Brazil’s GDP is expected to grow 0% this year. And that’s good news
In 2017, Brazil’s GDP growth is expected to be 0%, according to the OECD.

Because Brazil’s GDP shrank in 2015 and 2016, the flat growth is actually good news for the country.

The current crisis is more generalized than previous ones and has hit nearly all sectors.
Though things are bad now, not all is lost.
While growth may be flat in 2017, Brazil is at least seeing inflation fall and overdue reforms make progress, which should set the stage for 1.5% GDP growth in 2018.
